in this video, i demonstrate how i believe to be the most humane way to euthanize a goldfish. i hope this demonstration is educational to you, should the need arise.
FAQ: please read before commenting:
Q: why did the fish need to be euthanized?
A: the fish suffered external tumors all his life which were removed during several procedures. he then suffered an internal tumor which grew to press on his brain, causing him to lose swimming control, appetite, sight and other senses.
Q: why don't you just cut his head off, bash his head flat or throw him in boiling/ice water?
A: there are several ways to end the life of a fish, my choices are humane to the fish which are also peaceful to the aquarist.
Q: why not flush the fish?
A: because an ill/dying/dead fish or a decomposing fish release toxins/bacteria/parasites into the water. the correct method is to either bury the remains or dispose of them in the garbage for collection. polluting our waterways or drinking water is irresponsible.

Description: The Greek word for rabies, "lyssa" refers to the violent nature of the disease. The genus of viruses responsible for rabies belangs to the genus Lyssavirus in the family Rhabdoviridae. Rabies as well as the link between human disease and animals has been known for several thousand years, but the first meaning discriptions of the disease came from Italy in the early 1500s. In modern society rabies remains a feared disease as it was in antiquity, especially as canine rabies (street rabies) became a scourge in the 19th century. Today canine rabies is geographically widespread and continues to represent a significant public health threat, particularly in developing countries where human deaths have been estimated to be at least 50 000 annually. The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) has classified rabies as a List B disease, which means it has socio-economic and public health importance within affected countries, and is significant in the international trade of animals and animal products. The first part of the video provides comprehensive information on the clinical signs of rabies in all domestic animal species, some wild animals and humans. The second part of the video deals with specimen collection and transport, laboratory diagnosis, vaccination, post-exposure prohylaxis and treatment, and certain regulatory aspects relating to the control of the disease in both humans and animals.

MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said the mid-term review of the 11th Malaysia Plan was a missed opportunity for Pakatan Harapan to showcase its reforms.
He said instead, the report was general, non-specific, superficial and full of empty rhetoric.
Dr Wee, who is also Ayer Hitam MP, criticised several parts of the review, including the government’s intention to embark on austerity measures.

Warning: This video contains some graphic and unsettling imagery.
This poor dog was abandoned and left to fend for himself. He was living in a cardboard box and had an enormous wound on his back end that was incredibly infected and very close to the point of needing amputation. This pup is lucky he never lost his tail or his leg.
This beautiful dog was saved by Wilson Martins Coutinho, otherwise known as Protector Wilson. He recovered the dog from his cardboard home and nursed him with the help of some veterinarians back to health.

On a recent trip to Atlanta, we stopped by Quality Control Music’s studios to catch up with Migos. Quavo and Takeoff (free Offset!) invited us into their session as they put the finishing touches on Street On Lock 4, which consisted of them blasting each track at full-volume while suggesting mix improvisations to DJ Durel.
Migos’ metamorphosis from neighborhood stars to the zeitgeist of Atlanta’s trap music resurgence started in 2013 with their divisive Drake cosign via “Versace”—a song they believe was well on its way to making them a household name before the self-proclaimed 6 God stepped in. However, the numerous hit singles they’ve produced since prove that their success wasn’t a fluke.
“Bitch Dab” is the latest example of Migos’ cultural influence in the South (a region that has seemingly dictated trends in music nationwide for the majority of 2015). Officially released via their SoundCloud account on September 3, the simplistic cut is the equivalent to the “Cha Cha Slide” for dabbing, a dance Migos pioneered with their fellow Lobby Runners affiliates back in the day. However, as Quavo revealed, the dance was originally called the “Ungh!” (or something like that; I’m not really sure how to spell it) but was later coined as “dabbing” by the general public. Since then, dabbing has leapt from the confines of Vine into mainstream consciousness, showcased by superstar-athletes from the court to the field.
